MEET SAMUEL AKHIMIENHOA a.k.a SAMSOFT

Samuel Akhimienho aka SAMSOFT is a U.S based afrocentric/hip hop Gospel artiste from Uzzeba, Edo State, Nigeria. He is a song writer cum music producer with four albums to his credit and a yet to be released album.

He was born in the ancient city of Owo, Ondo State, grew up at Sapele, Delta State and currently resides in Boston M.A, U.S.A.

He started singing when he became born again at the age of 12 and currently plays 4 instruments, including the keyboard, bass guitar and drum set.

The Nigerian American gospel artist popularly called 'King of Gospel Afrocentric Hiphop', has recently been involved in many concerts, crusades and seminars in America, Europe and Africa. He has worked with world acclaimed musicians like Ron Kenoly, Tye Tribbett, Alvin Slaughter, Martha Munizzi and many more. His unique style of music has earned him a platinum selling status in the United States, allowing him to be ranked among the mainstream artistes in his genre. With the increasing demand for his music at home and abroad, Samsoft is poised to take gospel music to another level.

Samsoft's passion and mission in life centers on the advancement of gospel music, making it relevant in today's society. He is the president of One Voice United and doubles as the choir director. He is renowned for leading urban contemporary gospel choirs such as City Mass choir and Boston Multicultural Mass Choir (both in the USA) and lots more.

Samsoft is a mentor for upcoming artistes and he implements projects that inspire African Americans and young Nigerians in the United States to become successful artistes and choir directors.
