WHY ARE YOU HERE?

Few weeks ago while praying about certain things I really desire to do, I felt this nudging, 'remember purpose', in my spirit. It was like a reminder, a check in my spirit, saying, whatever you have to do has to be in line with 'PURPOSE'.

We can't find your purpose at the supermarket or by the roadside, and neither can we find it by asking friends for their opinions about us. The only way to discover our purpose is to first of all have a deep desire to know what it is, and thereafter, ask God wholeheartedly.

People generally like taking short-cuts but in this case, there isn't any. You will have to do it the 'old-fashioned way', the only way, which is to seek God's face on your knees.

"For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you," says the LORD, "plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call on Me and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear [your voice] and I will listen to you. Then [with a deep longing] you will seek Me and require Me [as a vital necessity] and [you will] find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you…”

Jeremiah 29:11-14a, (Amplified)

Fortunately, God has promised that when we search for Him with our whole heart, we will find Him. He made this profound utterance with all assurance. “I will be found by you.”

I remember when I first read those words, they hit me like a heavyweight punch. Now, I know I can, and will find Him if/when I desire Him, if/when I sincerely seek Him.

Today, God is saying “I will be found by Joy!". "I will be found by Wole!". "I will be found by Nkechi!". (You can personalize it). This means your search for God’s purpose and plan for your life will not come up empty. He anticipates you discovering His purpose and plans for your life, so that you can be able to tap into the great and wonderful things He has in store for you.

NOTE:

  • If you don't know who you are, you won't know what you really have.

  • If you don't know the value of what you have, you can be robbed off it easily.

  • If you're robbed of your valuables, you become a beggar and remember

  • Beggars are not taken seriously.

I implore you to discover your purpose and enjoy all of God. You were designed for a specific purpose. God knows you better than other people know you because He created you.

It is time to search for God with all your heart.

Find out why you are here on this earth by asking God to reveal it to you.

Ask God what He was thinking of while He was forming you.

It is my prayer that God will help us move forward daily as we discover our purpose.

Selah!!
