ASK YOURSELF: HOW CAN I WATER OTHERS?

“The generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will also be watered himself” Proverbs 11:25.

Every time I see a man or woman of God doing the work they are called to do, and whenever I am continually blessed by the word they share and the song they sing, I am moved and touched. I often ask myself how I can be a blessing to them.

It is the same as when I visit someone’s house and I'm given a special treat, when I’m at a restaurant and I receive impeccable service or when I go to the salon to make my hair and the stylist does a good job. With satisfaction, I ask myself how I can be a blessing to them.

Singing people's praise for a job well done so others can also patronize them is a form of watering others.

To have a generous soul is to be enriched and looking to make others enriched. The question always on the mind of a generous soul is, how can I be a blessing to others? We want to be refreshed but are we watering others and ministering to their needs? Everyone wants to be blessed, but not everyone wants to be a blessing in the way God has instructed them to be.

We are created to be a blessing as we are being blessed also. We have been made generous so that others can be refreshed and their souls blessed.

So, if you have not been watering souls, ask God who lives on the inside of you and I know He is there to change and enrich every part of us, so we can be a blessing.

It is my prayer today that we submit to God and do what He asks of us in Jesus’ name.
